As a faith-based community, we recognize the pivotal role of the church in African American history. From the Civil Rights Movement to modern-day leadership, the Black church has served as a cornerstone of strength, advocacy, and unity. This month, we pay tribute to those who have paved the way for progress, uplift voices of change, and reaffirm our commitment to spiritual and social empowerment.

Each year throughout the month of February, COFC will host a series of events and initiatives to honor Black History Month, including:
✅ Sunday Worship Tributes – Weekly messages highlighting the contributions of Black leaders in faith, history, and social justice.
✅ Historical Spotlights – A special feature recognizing prominent African American figures and their impact.
✅ Community Conversations – A panel discussion on faith, perseverance, and the role of the church in today’s society.
✅ Youth Engagement – Activities and teachings designed to educate and inspire the next generation.
